President
Phillip leads the team at Acres Enterprises overseeing all company departments. Phillip brings a strong vision for growth, innovation, and a people-first culture. With extensive experience in construction management and operations – both in the public and private sectors – Phillip has been a driving force behind Acres’ success. He oversees a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
Jeremy buchner, GSI
Vice President of Operations
Jeremy is the driving force behind Acres’ operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. With a sharp eye for project management, scheduling, and construction execution, he keeps everything on track while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. As a mentor and leader, he empowers his team to take ownership and push for excellence.

Vice President of technology & innovation
Mike’s expertise keeps Acres at the forefront of technology. With a knack for innovation and a deep understanding of the industry, Mike leads the charge in integrating technology, streamlining processes, and keeping Acres ahead of the curve. Whether it’s optimizing operations or tackling complex challenges, Mike’s strategic mindset and problem-solving skills help drive smarter, more efficient ways of business and construction.
Chris Cooper,
Director, Civil Department
Chris leads the Civil Department, bringing extensive experience in heavy civil contracting for mining and highway construction. With a strong background in project management, he oversees budgets, schedules, safety, and overall team performance, ensuring efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Kyle Ruppel, PMP, GSC
Director, Industrial Department
Kyle leads the Industrial Department, offering valuable insight and leadership to the team. With over 15 years in the construction industry, and extensive experience overseeing high level projects and contract management, Kyle is an expert at understanding a client’s vision.
Deina albrecht, M. Arch
Director, general Department
Deina oversees the General Department, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in the architecture and construction industries. Her proactive approach and commitment to a collaborative and supportive culture are key factors as Deina continuously delivers project excellence while exceeding client expectations.
We are proud to be a Gold Seal Employer, this designation represents our ongoing efforts to provide a supportive, inclusive, and engaging workplace that empowers our employees to excel and thrive. Acres Enterprises regards the Canadian Construction Association’s Gold Seal Certification process as the highest standard of professionalism in the construction industry. As such, we require all project managers and superintendents within the company to enroll in the Gold Seal program and provide sponsorship incentives to meet this requirement. To date, all our project managers and superintendents are either certified or enrolled as interns within the program.
