Acres Enterprises Sponsors Inclusive Workplace Award

Acres is proud to sponsor the Inclusive Workplace Award for the 2022 Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. Supportive is one of our core values and inclusivity is something we strive for every day, so to recognize a company that promotes an inclusive workplace is something very important to us.  Our commitment to excellence today and in the future means that we are actively involved in bettering our community—scholarships, sponsorships, volunteering, and our involvement with several community associations are just some examples of how we demonstrate integrity, commitment, and dedication to our team and to our community.

Last year, Acres had the honour of receiving the award for Technology Innovator, a prestigious accolade that highlights two of our differentiating factors. This year we are thrilled to be a finalist for the Marketing Campaign of The Year category for a social media strategy that highlighted Women in Construction Week.

Owner and President, Jason Paige, says that sponsoring this award is a great way to celebrate the business community.

“While Acres has been active as a contractor in the Okanagan for two decades, we officially opened a Kelowna office last June. We’re pleased to now not only work in the region, but also be a part of the vibrant community that is continuously growing. The Okanagan is a great place for opportunity, but it’s also a great place to live and play.”

The three finalists for this year’s award are:

Salt & Brick

Studio9 School of the Arts

Tranq Sleep Care

All of these businesses have shown an exemplary attitude towards inclusivity in the workplace, we look forward to celebrating with the rest of the Kelowna business community on November 23rd and can’t wait to present the award for Inclusive Workplace to a well-deserved nominee!
