Acres continues to make progress on the Cache Creek Culvert Replacement Project for the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure project on Highway 97.
Last week, crews installed 80m pile cages and filled them with concrete to prepare for the northbound lanes. Now work begins on the formwork for the abutments and girders shortly thereafter.
This project takes place in an archaeological and environmentally sensitive creek bed and is being successfully delivered in partnership with the Bonaparte First Nation.
Acres worked with Bonaparte’s team to provide a construction execution plan that would limit impacts to the adjacent Highway 97 and meet a tight construction window.
