𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬’ 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐬?

I started in 2014 as a Journeyman Carpenter and worked my way over the years to the role I’m in now as a Foreman. 

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛?

I like the responsibility that comes with the job and getting to be involved in every aspect of the jobsite. Every day is a little different!

𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠?

Mostly spending time with family and getting outdoors like going camping.  

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?

I was adopted and now my birth mom lives right across the street from me. I found her in 2013 and she moved from Ontario to B.C. to live near me. I was able to find her through a few Google searches, sent a message to her, and now she’s my neighbour. It really goes to show how small the world is.

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬:

Vancouver Canucks. I’ve been a fan since I was a kid, so I’m a true fan!

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬:

If I don’t say my wife, I’m going to have problems! But yes, definitely my wife and kids. At work though, my favourite person to spend time with is Stefan. He keeps me calm!  

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦?

We have a really good crew. When you have the right crew and right dynamics, it’s like hanging out with your buddies. Everything flows and goes better at work. Also, there’s no detachment between boss and workers. We all work together and really enjoy what we do.  

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬?

It’s very comfortable in Kamloops and you can get to other places easily. If I go see a hockey game in Vancouver for instance, it’s not too far of a drive. Kamloops is close to everything and you can enjoy going to events without having to live in a huge city.  

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥? 

A burger. If you can’t figure out what to eat, a burger is always a good choice.
