I’m a single grandparent raising two grandsons, so I spend a lot of time with my family. I do a lot of housecleaning, dishes, yard work, and shopping. It’s a real busy schedule, but it’s worth it. They’ll grow up and wonder, “Oh how did Poppa do it? We’ll never know!”

I have to say the Canucks. They keep breaking my heart, but they still have it!

My favourite movie of all time would be the Warriors. That came out in the seventies, which makes me still pretty young! I haven’t watched it in probably about a year, but it’s that movie I can always go back to.

We all get along and can joke around. It’s such a good team. Right from the beginning, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Everyone has a good sense of humour and it’s a positive environment.

I love how we have the great outdoors at our fingertips, and we get all four seasons in Kamloops. We can take part in winter and summer activities. We do a lot of outdoors activities like dirt biking, hunting, fishing. And the weather – the weather is great!
We have the best of the best here and we have a lot of sports. I mean, we’re the Tournament Capital. My son-in-law, Jim Cotter is actually in the Kamloops Hall of Fame for curling. So, we’re big sports fans!

I have to say, rib roast with mashed potatoes and gravy. Can’t get better than that.
