We are thrilled to share photos of the completed Gardengate Training Centre – a project that quickly turned into a community effort.
Acres was honoured when chosen as the Construction Manager for the new 2,200 sq. ft. facility at 917 Southill Street. This is a project our team became personally involved in because of the amazing work Gardengate does in the community, offering a space of healing and recovery to those living with addictions or mental health conditions.
Having previously operated out of a 700 sq. ft. space, this new facility includes a large commercial kitchen and communal area that allows staff and volunteers to support more participants through healthy eating, active living, and vocational training.
Many supplies, equipment, and labour were donated in the construction of this facility. A huge thank you to all of the trades and partners who helped bring the new Gardengate Training Centre to life:
