Open Door Group’s Gardengate Horticulture Program

THE PROJECT

Construction and management of a community building for a non-profit organization. Pre-construction services for a value-added concept to completion approach. All site and civil works including site clearing, service tie ins, and backfill and compaction, was performed by Acres.

Scope of work also included all framing, insulation, exterior, doors, windows, finishes, mechanical, and electrical on this 2,200 square foot facility.

This is a project our team became personally involved in because of the amazing work Gardengate does in the community, offering a space of healing and recovery to those living with addictions or mental health conditions.

Many supplies, equipment, and labour were donated by Acres, its sub-trades and partners in the construction of this facility.
