Barkman Concrete Manufacturing and Distribution Facility

THE PROJECT

The Barkman Concrete project consisted of a fully automated 40,000 sq. ft. concrete paver plant, and civil works of an approximately 10-acre site. Acres completed this work through a CCDC5B, managing and coordinating all design consultants and subtrades for all design, pre-construction and construction.

The building structure consisted of a pre-engineered structural steel building, with structurally insulated wall panels, interior architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical. The building includes reception, offices, lunch and change rooms,
washrooms, and control rooms for operators. Acres was responsible for all designers, permits, pre-construction responsibilities, and construction coordination for
the work.
