Cache Creek Watermain Replacement

THE PROJECT

Acres was responsible for locating, detailing and installing new water service for Cache Creek Elementary School.

This project was successfully delivered in partnership with the Bonaparte First Nation.  Acres and Bonaparte’s team were engaged to provide a construction execution plan that would limit impacts to the adjacent Highway 97 and meet a tight construction window. The work took place in an archaeological and environmentally sensitive creek bed.

SCOPE OF WORK

Site establishment, dewatering of existing creek via creek diversion techniques, bulk excavation and removal of highway asphalt. Remove existing 200mm watermain piping, install new 300mm watermain piping in place. Backfill to desired elevation in preparation for upcoming Culvert Replacement Project.
