Phoenix Centre Renovations

THE PROJECT

Acres was responsible for renovating a portion of an existing detox facility to accommodate the addition of 5 new youth treatment beds.

Final scope of work included the addition of a fire-suppression system throughout the whole building, security and access control systems, renovation of offices into treatment beds, new group room with kitchen space, door and window replacements, new flooring, new deck with privacy screening, new 4” water service to building, landscaping and fencing
installations, exterior envelope upgrades, and 2 new bathrooms with showers.

This was a complex project which included active construction in an occupied building with various restrictions. Acres adapted to frequent changes and requests, while working with the local municipality for service upgrades and completion of the project, without disruption to building services.
