Western Acres Water System Upgrade

THE PROJECT

The construction of this project included a two-cell concrete reservoir and booster station for the City of Prince George.

Acres self-performed all earthworks, access roads, watermain installation, tie-ins to existing utilities, concrete, framing and miscellaneous steel.

The project also included the installation of two new wells, masonry, metal cladding and roof, standby generator, process mechanical, chlorine injection, PLC and HMI programming.

Prior to work commencing on this project, a thorough collaborative safety, geotechnical, and engineering review was performed.
