Sun Peaks Arena Expansion

THE PROJECT

Acres was part of a major expansion project that elevated the versatility and functionality of the Sun Peaks Arena. This project involved the extension of a multi-use stage and the addition of a fully integrated building to support a variety of events and performances.

With a focus on durability, modern design, and advanced systems, this 2,800 sq. ft. expansion has enhanced the venue’s ability to host a wide range of events.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Extended a raised, semi-enclosed multi-use stage to the North of the existing arena.
• Constructed a 40-foot stage with a pre-engineered building, featuring durable cladding and modern design elements.
• Installed new doors and upgraded electrical and mechanical systems for improved functionality.
• Conducted excavation for foundation work, including pouring of footings and foundation walls.
• Implemented additional drainage solutions beneath and around the building for long-term stability.
• Applied finishing touches including painting and complete electrical and mechanical fit-out.
